EUA has many members and project partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia and would thus like to join the European Students’ Union (ESU) in calling for support for the people of these countries, who have been affected by the recent terrible floods.
In the framework of the EUREQA project, representatives of University of Prishtina and regional coordinator, WUS Kosova, visited the three project partner universities in Albania.
The half-way point of the EUREQA project was marked by a Partners’ Meeting in Brussels on 14 March. All of the project partners sent representatives to reflect on the achievements and impact of the project so far and to plan future activities. Participants also provided an update on developments in quality assurance in their own countries and institutions.
On 18 March 2014 the E4 Group (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), European Students’ Union (ESU), European University Association (EUA), European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE)), in cooperation with Education International (EI), BUSINESSEUROPE and European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) published a joint proposal for a revised version of the “Standards and Guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG)”.
EUREQA partners are invited to respond to the call for contributions and submit proposals to present papers or workshops at the 2014 EQAF, to be held on from 13 to 15 November at the University of Barcelona, Spain.
